James Yeager’s Biblical Adventure Book “The Story Of Job” Will Be Exhibited at the 2024 LA Times Festival of Books

The self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet will display the biblical adventure book by James Yeager, titled “The Story Of Job,” at the 2024 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. The book event will take place at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles on April 20-21, 2024.

The L.A. Times Festival of Books is an annual public festival celebrating community, literature, culture, and arts. Considered the largest book festival in the U.S., the event has drawn around 150,000 visitors annually. Visitors include authors, book lovers, exhibitors, celebrities, artists, and musicians. Aside from book exhibits, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books hosts events that include performances and storytelling for children, author signings, and panel discussions.

“The Story Of Job” retells the story of Job and his experiences in overcoming the challenges of life. In this book, readers are reminded about how faith can still be a drive to get through difficulties. “The Story Of Job” features dialogues between Job and his friends and with God.

The author aims to inspire and uplift readers through the life of a biblical character. His book also answers some questions about faith and life. Author’s Biography:

James Yeager has been a lifelong devotee of movies, literature, and the Bible for most of his life. His favorite film genres are biblical ethics, sci-fi, action, and western films. In this one book, he pays tribute to all of these great genres. For his senior seminar at the University of Pittsburgh, where he majored in communications and theater, he wrote a 40-page essay on how science fiction films of the 1950s reflected society’s greatest fears of the time.

After graduation in 1989, he worked for two local radio stations. Power 92 was the first where he mainly worked in the traffic department and wrote commercials for the station’s sponsors. The second was WADJ/WYSN in Somerset, Pennsylvania, where he worked as a disc jockey and announced upcoming sports events, weather, and news. Currently, Jim lives in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He works for the Commonwealth and attends Holy Name Of Jesus Church every weekend.
