Tietoevry’s Lifecare client information system streamlines social care services in the wellbeing services county of Satakunta

Tietoevry Care delivers its Lifecare client information system to Satakunta wellbeing services county. The shared information system in Satakunta improves and harmonizes social care services.

Currently, the wellbeing services county uses six social information systems to a varying extent. The Lifecare system replaces the previous systems enabling better management and understanding of social care customers. With Lifecare social care customers are able to view their information through Kanta services in the future. Satakunta county has approximately 215,000 residents.

“A unified client information system replaces six client information systems that have been in use in Satakunta,” says ICT Director Leena Ollonqvist.

“The developing Lifecare system benefits both the residents in the county and social care professionals. The system simplifies and streamlines the work of professionals in different social services locations by promoting the offering of high-quality and comprehensive social care services. Lifecare is a comprehensive solution that increases transparency, improves information flow, and provides real-time information to all users,” says Tiina Tauru, Head of Tietoevry Care in Finland.

The implementation of Lifecare will take place in the fall of 2024.
