Estrella Jalisco’s Refreshed Vive tu Estrella Campaign Celebrates Modern Mexican Culture with New Ads
The authentic Mexican Lager highlights its Jalisco heritage for the new generation of 21+ Mexican American beer consumers
Today, Estrella Jalisco debuts a new take on its Vive tu Estrella campaign, celebrating its authentic Mexican heritage, refreshing liquid, and the consumers who inspire it all. Building on last year’s successful Vive tu Estrella campaign, the Mexican lager’s distinctive perspective is even further elevated with a new suite of photography, video and radio assets.
Shot in Guadalajara, Jalisco, epicenter of Mexican culture, the new ads illustrate Estrella’s proud heritage as a cornerstone of its brand identity. Estrella, the first beer brewed in Jalisco more than 100 years ago, showcases its dedication to high quality and its deep roots in Mexican culture throughout the suite of new assets. The beautiful Cerveza Dorada serves as the hero of the ads, highlighting Estrella’s refreshing, premium and easy to drink liquid, packaged in Estrella’s iconic glass bottles. As the Mexican import of choice for the next generation of Mexican American beer consumers, Estrella’s new ads set out to embrace the bold, courageous, confident, and passionate identities of the modern Estrella Jalisco consumer.
“Vive Tu Estrella embodies everything Estrella Jalisco stands for, and we’re thrilled to continue to delve further into this platform centered on igniting the Mexican pride of our fans,” says Ben Martinez, Head of Marketing for Estrella Jalisco. “We’re inspired by the unique culture and perspective of today’s modern Mexican American and we look forward to meeting them at local festivals, neighborhood bars, and backyards all summer.”
Available in both English and Spanish, and created by GUT Miami, the new ads will live across digital, radio and out of home advertising in Arizona, California, Texas and New Mexico from April through November.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Estrella Jalisco, drawing upon their rich brand heritage to bring to life a new iteration of the Vive tu Estrella campaign. Our partnership reflects a commitment to excellence and innovation as Estrella Jalisco emerges as the premier choice in the U.S., embodying the spirit of modern Mexican American culture" said Ricardo Casal, North America Chief Creative Officer of GUT.
