Adelpha L. DeGuzman’s “Axel” Will Share an Adventure at the 2024 Hong Kong Book Fair

The self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet will exhibit the fantasy book by Adelpha L. DeGuzman, titled “Axel: The Mysterious Tapestry,” at the 2024 Hong Kong Book Fair. The international book fair will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Harbor Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong on July 17-23, 2024.

The Hong Kong Book Fair (HKBF) is an international book fair organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). The fair stands out as a significant platform for cultural exchange in Hong Kong and on an international level. The HKBK showcases a wide variety of books, ranging from the latest popular fiction to children’s and teen’s books and more, as well as an extensive range of stationery, art, crafts, and other multimedia products.

“Axel: The Mysterious Tapestry” follows fourteen-year-old Axel as he gets transported into a faraway kingdom in danger of destruction by an evil entity. Axel received a mysterious tapestry on his eleventh birthday that will change his life forever. In the kingdom, Axel learned that he needed to collect twelve gems from twelve tribes to create a powerful weapon to defeat the evil trying to destroy everything. As the Chosen One, will he find the courage to face his trials and defeat the dark force?

The author offers this adventure to bring her readers on a journey to discovering one’s own strength and courage through the difficult challenges of life.

Adelpha L. DeGuzman is an immigrant from the Philippines. After decades of being an accountant, writing a book was her life-long dream. Upon retirement, she embarked on trying to fulfill that dream with the goal of continuing her father’s legacy of being a writer and to offer a Filipino contribution to American and, hopefully, world culture.
